The NodeMCU Lua Lolin V3 Module is a development board based on the ESP8266 ESP-12F Wi-Fi microcontroller. The ESP8266 is a low-cost, low-power system on a chip (SoC) that includes a 32-bit microcontroller and a built-in Wi-Fi transceiver. It is designed for internet of things (IoT) applications and can be used to connect devices to the internet and to each other.

The Lolin V3 version of the NodeMCU board is built around the ESP-12F Module and includes a USB-to-Serial converter for programming and debugging. The board includes a micro-USB port for power and programming, and a set of headers for connecting to external components.
