Increased processor speed. Due to the 1.4GHz the 4 core CPU of the Raspberry PI 3 Model B+ works about 17% faster than the predecessor Model PI 3 B.
The Model 3 B+ now has the option to communicate with 5 GHz WLAN networks in addition to the 2.4 GHz wireless LAN. Furthermore, the board is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port and 4.2/BLE Bluetooth.
Possibility for PoE (Power-over-Ethernet). With an additional PoE HAT, the Model PI 3 B+ is ready to be powered via the Ethernet port.
The ARMv8 processor location allows all ARM GNU/Linus applications (Incl. Snappy Ubuntu Core) and Microsoft Windows 10 loT Edition to run.

The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is the latest revision of the Raspberry Pi 3 series. With an unchanged design, the Model 3 B+ is also compatible with existing cases and plug-on modules.

It has an extended 40-pin GPIO header, 4 USB 2.0 ports, a CSI camera port and a DS display port. Also, the product has a 4-pin stereo output and a composite video port.
