This product is a soil moisture sensor (hygrometer). The CJMCU Soil Moisture Sensor helps you extend the life of your plant By reminding you when to water it.
The moisture sensor uses capacitive moisture sensing as opposed to resistive moisture sensing, which means the sensor has no electrical contact with the soil, preventing electrode corrosion and soil electrolysis. This capacitive moisture measurement contributes to longer battery life and better accuracy.
The sensor has an alarm function via a built-in passive buzzer. When the moisture level is high, the moisture sensor begins to sound a low alarm tone through the buzzer. When the moisture level is low, the sensor increases the alarm sound level.
The sensor can detect whether it is day or night By measuring the amount of ambient light, so it makes no noise in the dark.
