Description
The W5500 Ethernet Network Internet Module is a network module that enables a microcontroller to connect to the Internet via Ethernet. It is based on Wiznet's W5500 chip, a hardwired TCP/IP embedded Ethernet controller that enables easier Internet connectivity for embedded systems.
The W5500 chip offers a wide range of features, including support for TCP, UDP, IPv4, ICMP, ARP, IGMP, and PPPoE protocols, as well as 8 independent sockets simultaneously, hardware TCP/UDP checksum calculation, and power-down mode support.
This module can be used in a variety of projects, including IoT devices, home automation systems, and web-enabled projects.
If it does not always have to or may not always be WLAN, you can use theAZ-Delivery Ethernet Shield W5100you can fall back on the cable-based network.
Whether as a client or as its own web server - for the popularW5500 chip
there are already many example sketches in the Arduino IDE for an easy start and the Shield can bebe used immediately.
